小麦粉の皮で野菜などを包み込んだおやきは、素朴な味わいが特徴です。その土地や家庭によって作り方は異なり、なかに入れる具も定番の野沢菜やあんこをはじめ、ナス、かぼちゃなどその時期に収穫できる野菜を用いることが多いため、旬の食材を手軽に楽しめます。なかでも、蒸かしおやきは家庭で一番簡単に作ることができるので初めて作る人におすすめです。

We usually use fresh seasonal vegetables such as eggplants and pumpkins, and many of add nozawa-na pickled vegetables and sweetened red bean paste. The easiest way to make oyaki buns is by steaming. Anyone can make it this very easily, so it's recommended to those who are new to making this kind of dish.
